YBBP-80~500 Series of Flame-proof Variable-frequency Adjustable-speed Three-phase Asynchronous Motors

1. General Description

     YBBP series of flameproof variable-frequency adjustable-speed three-phase asynchronous motors(H80~500) are the latest products which successfully developed by our company, this series of motors are based on the series of YB3 motors and combine with the some new technology such as electromagnetic structure, technique and material at home and abroad currently. This series of motors have many merits such as good speed regulating performance, energy saving, big margin of temperature rise, long operation life, excellent performance, low noise, advanced flame-proof structure, high reliability and convenient maintenance, they could be used with various frequency devices and help to energy saving and automatic control. Besides, the rated power, rated speed and mounting dimension are all the same as YB3 series of motors. 

     This series of motors conform to GB755 <<Rotating electrical machines- rating and performance>>, Industry Standards of JB/T11201-2011 <<technical conditions for YBBP series of flameproof variable-frequency adjustable-speed three-phase asynchronous motors (Frame Size: H80~355)>> and Enterprise Standard << technical conditions for YBBP series of flameproof variable-frequency adjustable-speed three-phase asynchronous motors (Frame Size: H400~500)>>

     Explosion-proof properties of this series conform to GB3836.1-2010 <<Explosive atmosphere- part 1: Equipment-General requirements>>, GB3836.2-2010 <<Explosive atmosphere- part 2: Equipment protected by flameproof enclosures “d”>>, they are made into the flame-proof types of ExdI Mb, ExdIIAT4 Gb, ExdIIBT4 Gb and ExdIICT4 Gb. This series of motors are suitable to be used in hazardous areas like underground coal mine (non-digging working area) and factory (class IIA, IIB and IIC; temperature class T1-T4) with the explosive gas atmosphere. 

     The main enclosure of this series motors is of protection degree IP55, cooling system is IC416.

     This series of motors could be made as the following types: humid tropics type (YBBP-TH), dry tropics type (YBBP-TA), outdoor type (YBBP-W), outdoor medium-anticorrosion type (YBBP-WF1), outdoor humid tropics type (YBBP-THW), outdoor dry tropics type (YBBP-TAW), tropics type (YBBP-T) and outdoor tropics type (YBBP-TW).

2.Technical Parameters

     Altitude: An altitude is not exceeding 1000 meters above sea level 
     Ambient air temperature: The minimum ambient temperature is -15℃. The maximum is 35℃ (in underground coal mine) or 40℃ (in factories).

     The maximum relative humidity of ambient air is not exceeding 95% (under the condition of temperature 25℃) (in underground coal mine) or the monthly average relative humidity is 90% and the monthly average minimum temperature is not exceeding 25℃ (in factories).

     Rated voltage: 380V
     Frequency: 50Hz
     Duty type: continuous (S1)

     Range of frequency modulation: the range of frequency modulation for two poles is 3 (5) ~60Hz. The range of frequency modulation for more than four poles is 3 (5) ~100Hz. The constant-torque speed regulation is used during 3 (5) ~50Hz and the constant-power speed regulation is used during 50~100Hz.

3. Construction Features

    The computer-aided design is adopted by YBBP series of flameproof frequency controlled three-phase asynchronous motors; it enables the motors to operate normally under the condition of variable frequency SPWM and PWM power supply. There have some special considerations on the design, such as the slot of the stators and rotors, and the distributing forms of the stator windings, therefore, a more appropriate inductance value could be achieved; furthermore, some negative effects could be inhibited or reduced which from harmonic wave.

    Certain margin has been considered when the electromagnetic load of the motor is designed; it not only could ensure the overload capacity of motors at high-frequency but also keep constant torque output at low-frequency. Moreover, the insulation system of this series of motors has adopted insulation class F which widely used in the world; such insulation system has the advantages of reliable insulation and excellent performance. In terms of the structure design, the mounting dimensions of this series of motors are the same as the YB3 series of motors and then make it easy for users to use them. 

     This series of motors use independent axial flow blowers to force ventilation, ensure the motors have a good cooling effect under different operation speeds

Driven by explosion-proof frequency-varied three-phase induction motors, this series of products is of cool-forced explosion-proof axial-ventilating ones, having awarded with explosion-proof certificate issued by the national- level authority. Its explosion grades can be made into ExdI Mb, ExdIIAT4 Gb, ExdIIBT4 Gb and ExdIICT4 Gb on request.       Developing  specially  for  matching  with  explosion-proof frequency-varied speed-adjusted motor, the series of blower is composed of 4 parts, including explosion-proof motor, explosion-proof terminal box, enclosure and fan wheel. Being designed into barrel-typed structure with its fan wheel combined with the motor, this series of blower have the characteristics of being easy to install, lower noise, little vibration, reliable operation, and explosion-proof.
