YB3-H Series Marine Flame-proof Three-phase Asynchronous Motors (H63-355)

1. Introduction
YB3-H Series Marine flame-proof three-phase asynchronous motors are totally enclosed, self-fan-cooled, squirrel-cage and developed from YB3 series motors. According to the level of energy efficiency rating standard GB18613-2012<<the allowable value of energy efficiency and the level of energy efficiency on small and medium three-phase asynchronous motors>>, the efficiency of this series motors has achieved Level-3 National Energy Efficiency, this level is equal to European Standard EFF1 Level. This series of motors have many remarkable features such as excellent electrical performance, safe and reliable operation, low level in vibration and noise.
For this series of motors, the power levels and mounting dimensions conform to the specifications of IEC Standard (IEC60072-1),its corresponding relationship is same as German DIN42673 Standard, it is beneficial to form a complete set of export machinery equipments and spare parts of imported equipments.
The flameproof performance of this series motors meet GB3836.1-2010<<Electrical apparatus for explosive gas atmospheres, Part1: General requirements>>and GB3836.2-2010<<Electrical apparatus for explosive gas atmosphere, Part 2: Flameproof “d”>>, explosion-proof degree is Ex d IIB T4 Gb.
This series of motors have achieved China Classification Society (CCS) Certificate, basically each performance index meets or exceeds the requirements of ship and ocean engineering. This series motors are suitable for using in ship and ocean engineering, and they are also suitable to be used in the places with explosive gas mixture of class IIB and temperature of class T1, T2, T3 and T4.
2. Construction Features
The flameproof structure for ExdIIAT4 Gb and ExdIIBT4 Gb are available.
The degree of protection is IP55 or IP56 for motor main enclosures
The cooling form is IC411.
The stator windings are of Class F insulation and ensures a large margin of safety in temperature rise and long service life.
A cylindrical shaft extension is equipped on motors, which is driven by coupling or spur gearing.
The stator windings are wound with polyester enamel round wire of high strength and then treated with the progress of vacuum-pressure impregnation (VPI), to make them become a solid integral. Therefore, the winding insulation is excellent in electrical and mechanical properties, moisture resistance and thermal stability.
The rotors are of cast-aluminum, and dynamically balanced to make the motor operate smoothly with small vibration and low noise.
The stator and rotor cores are laminated with high-class electrical silicon steel sheet with high permeability and low loss. thus makes the motors possess low loss and high efficiency.
The motors are fitted with low vibration and low noise bearings special for motors. For the motors of frame size 132 and below, bilaterally shielded ball bearings are used and corrugated spring washers at the driving ends pressed on bearings with proper pressure to restrain effectively the vibration and noise produced during motors’ operation. For the motors of frame size 160 and above, the bearings with inner and outer covers are used and retaining rings at bearing position are equipped on shafts to prevent the rotor efficiently from moving axially.
In order to operate safety and reliably, according to customer requirements, the bearings of the motors frame size 160~225 are provided with greasing attachments. which are of the use to drain or replenish the lubricating grease without stopping the motors. For the frame size 250 and above, the positions for mounting bearing temperature detection sensor are preliminary left.
3.Working Condition
Ambient air temperature:
The ambient air temperature subjects to seasonal variation with the highest temperature do not exceed 45℃. It is better for manufacturer to negotiate with user if the motors are used in an ambient temperature which above 45℃. The minimum ambient temperature is -20℃, similarly, It is better for manufacturer to negotiate with user if the motors are used in an ambient temperature which below -20℃.
The maximum relative humidity of ambient air is not exceeding 95%, and also should be influenced by Condensation、salt mist、oil mist、mildew、shock、vibration and seawater, furthermore, there should be ±22.5º tilt.
