YB2 Series Compact-typed High-voltage Flame-proof Three-phase induction motors (H355-560)


 

1.General Description

YB2 series compact-type high-voltage flame-proof three-phase induction motors are the latest products, which based on introducing and adsorbing foreign manufacturing technology of high-voltage, furthermore, they are developed by combining with our company's rich experience in design and manufacture of the long-term stable series products especially the high-voltage three-phase induction electric motors.

This series of motors adopt new technique, new material, new technology, well-selected materials and excellent quality, they have many merits such as lightweight, compact construction, big power, high efficiency, low noise, small vibration, safe and reliable operation and convenient maintenance.

This series of motors conform to GB755 <<electric rotating machinery-Rating and Performance>>, GB3836.1<<Electrical equipments for use in the environment of explosive gas- part 1: general requirements>> and GB3836.2 <<Electrical equipments for use in the environment of explosive gas- part 2: flame-proof "d">>. The flame-proof types of this series of motors are ExdI, ExdIIAT4, ExdIIBT4 and ExdIICT4; they are suitable to be used in hazardous areas of Zone 1 and Zone 2 with explosive gas mixture.

This series of motors can be used to drive many kinds of general machinery, such as compressors, water pumps, crushers, cutting machine tools, conveying machineries and many other mechanical equipments, moreover, they could also be used as driver in some hazardous areas which have explosive gas atmosphere such as the mine, mechanical industry, petrochemical industry, power plant and so on.

Exd I is suitable for the underground coal mine (non-digging working area with explosive gas mixture) where have methane or coal dust
Exd II A T4 is suitable for plant areas of class IIA and temperature class T1, T2, T3 and T4 with explosive gas atmosphere
Exd II B T4 is suitable for plant areas of class IIB and temperature class T1, T2, T3 and T4 with explosive gas atmosphere
ExdII C T4 is suitable for plants areas of class IIC and temperature class T1, T2, T3 and T4 with explosive gas atmosphere

The motors can also be manufactured for special environments, such as outdoor type (YB2-W), indoor humid tropics type (YB2-TH), outdoor humid tropics type (YB2-THW), indoor dry tropics type (YB2-TA), outdoor dry tropics type (YB2-TAW), indoor tropics type (YB2-T), outdoor tropics type (YB2-TW) and outdoor medium-anticorrosion type (YB2-WF1) etc. The main mounting and overall dimensions are the same as those of the basic series.

(Note: different protection types, cooling system and mounting arrangements are also available according to different customer requirements)

Ambient air temperature is subject to seasonal variation with the highest temperature should not exceeding 40℃ and the lowest temperature should not less than -15 ℃.

Altitude: not exceeding 1000m above sea level
Rated voltage: 6KV, 10KV
Rated frequency: 50Hz
Duty type: Continuous (S1)
 
3.Construction Features

This series of motors adopt box structure which popular in the world. The frames, inner and outer surface of the end covers are all distributed with radiating rib; therefore the series of motors have the merits of compact construction and good-looking appearance.

The stators are of external pressure assembly construction, and use class insulation F. Stator windings are wound with insulating flat copper wire. The whole windings are vacuum-pressure impregnated (VPI) to make them have higher electric strength, mechanical strength, insulating property, moisture resistance and thermo-stability.
The rotors are of squirrel-cage structure. After high precision balancing verification, the motors can run smoothly with small vibration

High-voltage terminal boxes are seal structure with a large terminal compartment within which positions of cable head are left. The terminal boxes locate at the right side of the motors.

The bearing structure shall be selected according to different power and speed. For frame size H355~560-4, 6, 8P motors, rolling bearing shall be provided. For frame size H500~560-2P motors, sleeve bearing shall be provided. For rolling bearing, oiling devices without stopping the motors are set up at two sides of the rolling bearing, it can be added grease regularly; for sleeve bearing, it is spherical sleeve bearing, it adopts force-feed lubrication, oil ring self-lubrication or combined type lubrication (the lubrication form could be selected by users), besides, the measures of removing shaft current have been taken.

According to customer requirements, motors can be equipped with a bearing temperature detector. Meanwhile, the stator temperature detectors and anti-condensation heating device can be equipped according to different customer requirements as well. The flame-proof structures of the motors are adopted with the barrel configuration, plain and axial labyrinth etc.
