YB2-63~355 Series (IIC) Explosion-proof Three-phase Asynchronous Motors

1. General Description

       Developed from YB3 series motors, this series of motors are totally enclosed, self-cooled, squirrel-cage explosion-proof motors with the uppermost protection degree. It has advanced explosion-proof structure and reliable properties. This series of motors conform to the National Standard GB3836.1-2010 <<Explosive atmosphere- part 1: Equipment-General requirements>>, GB3836.2-2010 <<Explosive atmosphere- part 2: Equipment protected by flameproof enclosures “d”>> and IEC60079-1, they are made into type ExdIICT4 Gb, this type is applicable for the plant areas where exist explosive gas mixture with Class IIC and temperature class T1-T4 environment.

       The rated power, flange, electrical properties, mounting dimensions, etc. of this series are the same as YB3 series motors except the appearance differences of terminal boxes.

       The main enclosure of this series motors is of protection degree IP55 and conform to GB/T4942.1; the cooling system is IC411.
This series of motors have been approved the certificates of IECEx and ATEx.
