YB Series High-voltage Three-phase Flame-proof Induction Electric motors (H355-450)


1.General Description

YB series high-voltage three-phase induction motors (Frame Size: 355-450) are totally enclosed self-fan-cooled and squirrel cage, they are the latest series products and successfully developed and manufactured by our company, what’s more, they are based on introducing and adsorbing foreign manufacturing technology of high-voltage. The motors are characterized with remarkable features like compact construction, lightweight, big power, high efficiency, large margin of temperature rise, excellent performance, little vibration, low noise, good flame-proof properties, high reliability, and easy maintenance, etc.

The power range of this YB series (H355-450) motors is ranged from 160kw to 500kw in conformity with the updated Chinese Standard and IEC standard. Furthermore, this series of motors conform to China National Standard GB755 <<electric rotating machinery-Rating and Performance>>, GB3836.1 <<Electrical equipments for use in the environment of explosive gas- part 1: general requirements>> and GB3836.2 <<Electrical equipments for use in the environment of explosive gas- part 2: flame-proof "d">>. They are made into flame-proof type motors and the explosion marks are ExdI, ExdIIAT4 and ExdIIBT4 and ExdIICT4, they are suitable to be used in hazardous areas of Zone 1 and Zone 2 with explosive gas mixture.

Exd I is suitable for the underground coal mine (non-digging working area with explosive gas mixture) where have methane or coal dust
Exd II AT4 is suitable for plant areas of class IIA and temperature class T1, T2, T3 and T4 with explosive gas atmosphere
Exd II BT4 is suitable for plant areas of class IIB and temperature class T1, T2, T3 and T4 with explosive gas atmosphere
ExdII CT4 is suitable for plants areas of class IIC and temperature class T1, T2, T3 and T4 with explosive gas atmosphere 

2. Technical Parameters

Protection degree and terminal box: IP54 (IP55 if needed)
Ambient temperature is subject to seasonal variation with the highest temperature should not exceeding 40℃ and the lowest temperature should not less than -15 ℃.
Altitude: An altitude is not exceeding1000 meters above sea level

Cooling system: IC411 (it is the cooling type of self-fan-circulated ventilation)
Rated voltage: 6KV, 10KV
Rated frequency: 50Hz
Duty type: Continuous (S1)

Based on these series motors, outdoor type (W), humid tropics type (TH), outdoor humid tropics type (THW), indoor medium-anticorrosion type (F1), indoor strong-anticorrosion type (F2), outdoor medium-anticorrosion type (WF1) and outdoor strong-anticorrosion type (WF2) three-phase induction motors have been modified, the performance index as well as mounting and overall dimensions are the same as those of the basic series.
 
3. Constructions Features

1. This motor series adopt Class F insulation, and stator windings are wound with two-glasses-fibers covered film-tape flat copper wire. The whole windings are vacuum-pressure impregnated (VPI) to make them have higher electric strength, mechanical strength, insulating property, moisture resistance and thermo-stability

2. The rotors of this series of motors adopt copper bar structure or casting-aluminum with squirrel-cage structure.

3. The terminal box has ample cavity to facilitate the connection of either copper or aluminium cable. The insulating bushes which used to fix connection bolt are pressed and manufactured of high quality DMC plastic. The terminal box is placed on the top.

4. The flame-proof structures adopt various flame-proof types such as cylinder type, planar type and axial labyrinth type

5. On request, the motors could be equipped with space heater, stator temperature detector, bearing temperature detector and explosion-proof temperature monitoring instruments.

6. The motors are basically grease-lubricated rolling bearing; grease-filling devices with no downtime are set up at two sides of the rolling bearing. Several advantages could be achieved by optimizing the design of bearing structure; such as improve the bearing life, reduce the probability of motor holding shaft accident and improve the reliability of motor operation.
