YB series high-voltage three-phase flame-proof induction motors (H560-800)


1. General Description

Series YB (H560-800) High-voltage flame-proof three-phase induction motors are the latest products, which based on introducing and adsorbing foreign manufacturing technology of high-voltage. They are developed by combining with our company's rich experience in design and manufacture of the long-term stable series products especially the high-voltage three-phase induction electric motors. This series of motors have many remarkable features such as compact construction, lightweight, high efficiency, low noise, little vibration, safe and reliable operation and easy maintenance.

For this series of motors, the power levels and mounting dimensions conform to the specifications of China National Standard, IEC and Germany Standard. The motors can be used to substitute the exported equipments and imported products.

The explosion-proof properties meet GB3836.2 << Electrical equipments for use in the environment of explosive gas- part 2: flame-proof "d">>. They are suitable to be used in the places where have explosive gas mixture and they can be used to drive some equipments such as blowers, water pumps and compressors.

Based on the series of YB motors, outdoor type (W type), humid tropics type (TH type), outdoor humid tropics type (THW type) flame-proof three-phase induction motors have been modified. The performance index, mounting and overall dimensions are the same as basic series of motors. 

3. Construction features

This series of motors adopt advanced foreign motor manufacturing technology. The stators are of external pressure assembly construction, and use class insulation F. Stator windings are wound with mica-tape covered film-tape flat copper wire. The suitable shaping materials are added between the ends of winding. Non-steel end hoops (or steel end hoops) are bundled in the outside ends, and the whole windings are vacuum-pressure impregnated (VPI) to make them have higher electric strength, mechanical strength, insulating property, moisture resistance and thermo-stability.

The rotor of this series motors adopt copper bar with squirrel-cage structure. After high precision balancing verification, the motors can run smoothly with small vibration

The high-voltage terminal boxes are designed into split inclined type with a large terminal compartment within which positions of cable head are left for connecting rubber-insulated copper cables or rubber-insulated aluminum cables. The flame-proof structure of shaft-through part adopt commonly-used axial labyrinth, and this series of motors can be made into ExdI, ExdIIAT4, ExdIIBT4, ExdIICT4. The structure of bearings adopts three-bearing structure, in addition, double-bearings (one of them is ball bearing) are equipped at the shaft extension ends to prevent axial movement and then the motor could operate reliably and safely.

Oiling devices with no downtime are set up at two sides of the motors; it can be added grease regularly.

According to customer requirements, motors can be equipped with a bearing temperature detector. Meanwhile, the stator temperature detectors and anti-condensation heating device also can be equipped according to different customer requirements as well.
