YAKK, YAKS Series High-voltage increased-safety Three-phase induction electric motors (H355~630)

1. General Description

Series YAKK and YAKS high-voltage (6KV, 10KV) increased-safety three-phase motors (Frame Size: 355~630) are developed and manufactured by our company recent years, which based on introducing and adsorbing foreign manufacturing technology of high-voltage, in addition, they are developed by combining with our company's rich experience in design and manufacture of the long-term stable series products especially the high-voltage three-phase induction electric motors.

This series of motors adopt new technique, new material, new technology, well-selected materials and excellent quality, they have many merits such as lightweight, compact construction, big power, high efficiency, low noise, small vibration, safe and reliable operation and convenient maintenance.

This series of motors conform to GB755 <<electric rotating machinery-Rating and Performance>>, Industrial Standard JB/T7593 <<technical conditions for Y Series High-voltage Three-phase Asynchronous motors (Frame Size: 355-630) >> and International Standard IEC, each component of the mechanical dimension and tolerance conform to corresponding National Standard and International Standard. Moreover, this series of motors meet GB3836.1<<Electrical equipments for use in the environment of explosive gas- part 1: general requirements>> and GB3836.3<<Electrical equipments for use in the environment of explosive gas- part 3: increased-safety "e">>.

Based on this series of motors, outdoor type (W), humid tropics type (TH), outdoor humid tropics type (THW), indoor medium-anticorrosion type (F1), outdoor medium-anticorrosion type (WF1) increased-safety three-phase induction motors have been modified. The performance index, mounting and overall dimensions are the same with basic series of motors.

This series of motors can be used to drive many kinds of general machinery, such as compressors, water pumps, crushers, cutting machine tools, conveying machineries and many other mechanical equipments, moreover, they could also be used as driver in some hazardous areas which have explosive gas atmosphere such as the mine, mechanical industry, petrochemical industry, power plant and so on. 

4. Construction Features

This series of motors adopt box structure which popular in the world, the frame, end shield and some other parts of the motors are welded with steel plate, this series of motors thus have the merits of lightweight and good rigidity. In addition, observation, installation, and maintenance can be done easily after taking down coolers.

Stators of this motor series adopt two external pressure assembly constructions, including hoisting or sliding, Class F insulation is adopted; stator windings are wound with two-glasses-fibers covered film-tape flat copper wire. The whole windings are vacuum-pressure impregnated (VPI) to make them have higher electric strength, mechanical strength, insulating property, moisture resistance and thermo-stability.

The rotor is squirrel-cage structure. After high precision balancing verification, the motors can run smoothly with small vibration.

High-voltage terminal boxes are seal structure with a large terminal compartment within which positions of cable head are left. The terminal boxes locate at the right side of the motors.

In terms of bearing structure, two types are employed according to different power and speed, one is rolling bearing and the other one is sleeve bearing. For rolling bearing, oiling devices without stopping the motors are set up at two sides of the rolling bearing, it can be added grease regularly; for sleeve bearing, it is spherical sleeve bearing, it adopts force-feed lubrication, oil ring self-lubrication or combined type lubrication, besides, the measures of removing shaft current is also adopted.

According to customer requirements, motors can be equipped with a bearing temperature detector. The stator temperature detectors and anti-condensation heating device can be equipped according to different customer requirements as well.
