Y, YKK, YKS Series High-voltage Three-phase Induction Electric Motors (H710~800)
1.General Description
Y, YKK, YKS series high-voltage three-phase induction motors (Frame Size: 710-800) are the latest series products and they are manufactured by our company which based on introducing and adsorbing foreign manufacturing technology of high-voltage. This series motors meet National Standard GB/T13957 and its corresponding standards as well as combine with our company's rich experience in design and manufacture of the long-term stable series products especially the high-voltage three-phase induction electric motors.

This series of motors apply computer optimization design technology and adopt new technique, new material, new technology, well-selected materials and excellent quality, the motors thus have many merits like lightweight, compact construction, big power, high efficiency, low noise, small vibration, safe and reliable operation and convenient maintenance.

This series of motors meet China National Standard GB755 <<electric rotating machinery-Rating and Performance>>, Industry Standard JB/T13957 <<technical conditions for the fundamental series of large three-phase asynchronous motors>> and International Standard IEC. Each component of the mechanical dimension and tolerance meet the corresponding National Standard and International Standard.

Based on this series of motors, outdoor type (W type), humid tropics type (TH type), outdoor humid tropics type (THW type), indoor medium-anticorrosion type (F1 type), indoor strong-anticorrosion type (F2 type), outdoor medium-anticorrosion type (WF1 type) and outdoor strong-anticorrosion type (WF2 type) three-phase induction motors have been modified. The performance index, mounting and overall dimensions are the same with basic series of motors.

Ambient conditions: indoor, outdoor (W), humid tropics (TH), outdoor humid tropics (THW), indoor medium-anticorrosion type (F1), indoor strong-anticorrosion type (F2), outdoor medium-anticorrosion type (WF1) and outdoor strong-anticorrosion type (WF2).

At the operation site, the monthly average relative humidity is 90% and the monthly average minimum temperature is not exceeding 25℃.

This series of motors can be used to drive many kinds of general machinery, such as compressors, water pumps, blowers and many other mechanical types of equipment; moreover, they could also be used as driver in some hazardous areas which have explosive gas atmosphere such as the mine, mechanical industry, petrochemical industry, power plant and so on. 

3. Construction Features

This series of motors adopt box structure which popular in the world, the frame, end shield and some other parts of the motors are welded with steel plate. End-shield sphere sleeve bearings are employed as well, so that high load capacity, convenient overhaul and assembling could be achieved. Furthermore, this series of motors have many other merits such as lightweight and good rigidity, in addition, observation, installation, and maintenance can be done easily after taking down coolers.

Stators of this motor series adopt Class F insulation, and stator windings are wound with two-glasses-fibers covered film-tape flat copper wire. The whole windings are vacuum-pressure impregnated (VPI) to make them have higher electric strength, mechanical strength, insulating property, moisture resistance and thermo-stability.

The material of rotor bars is copper, reliable welding technology is adopted between bars and end rings, moreover, reliable measures have been taken to prevent bar from rupture. After high precision balancing verification, the motors can run smoothly with small vibration.

High-voltage terminal boxes are seal structure with a large terminal compartment within which positions of cable head are left. The terminal boxes locate at the right side of the motors (viewing from the drive end). When the power of motor is 2000KW or above, a secondary terminal box is equipped at one side of the primary terminal box, being used of neutral point connection of stator three-phase windings and differential protection of motors.

According to customer requirements, motors can be equipped with a bearing temperature detector. Meanwhile, the stator temperature detector and anti-condensation heating device can be equipped according to different customer requirements as well.
