YBD80-280 Series Explosion-proof polar-changeable and Multispeed Three-phase Asynchronous Motors

1. General Description

       Developed from YB3 series motors, this series of motors are the ones with totally enclosed, squirrel-cage structure. This series of motors adopt the connection of changing windings to vary the number of poles and output power, so that the load characteristic of machines could be meet; moreover, simplifying the speed control system could save vast electric power. 

       The multispeed motors have three types, including two-speed, three-speed, and four-speed. For two-speed motor terminal box, there are 6 terminal studs in it; for three-speed motor terminal box, there are 9 terminal studs in it; for four-speed motor terminal box, there are12 terminal studs in it.

       This series of motors conform to the National Standard GB3836.1-2010 <<Explosive atmosphere- part 1: Equipment-General requirements>>, GB3836.2-2010 <<Explosive atmosphere- part 2: Equipment protected by flameproof enclosures “d”>>, they have types of ExdIIAT4 Gb and ExdIIBT4 Gb, they are applicable for the plant areas where exist explosive gas mixture with Class IIA, IIB and temperature class T1-T4.

       The mounting dimensions of this series are the same as YB3 series motors.

       The main enclosure of this series motors is of protection degree IP55, cooling system is IC411.
